Seafood in Eureka Springs: A Fresh-Cooked Dining Guide

Searching for seafood in Eureka Springs? McGarity’s Restaurant & Irish Pub serves a broad, restaurant-first menu built around fresh preparation, generous portions, and memorable hospitality. Located at 2070 E. Van Buren on Route 62 East, McGarity’s is a convenient stop for visitors exploring Eureka Springs and a familiar favorite for local diners.

Seafood Choices Beyond the Expected

Our seafood selection gives guests more than one way to enjoy a special meal. The menu includes McGarity’s Guinness Fish, Shrimp & Chips, Garlic Shrimp Pasta, Blackened Red Fish, Shrimp Creole & Grits, White Wine Salmon, Sesame-Crusted Ahi Tuna, and other carefully prepared selections. Most of our seafood is wild-caught rather than farm-raised, and every dish is cooked to order.

Crab Cakes Made With Real Crab Meat

McGarity’s Crab Cakes are made with real crab meat and served as two grilled, generously packed crab cakes with house-made cocktail sauce and a choice of two sides. The current price is $39.95. They are an excellent choice for guests who want seafood with a crisp exterior, tender center, and full crab flavor.

Shrimp for Every Appetite

Shrimp lovers can choose from several distinct preparations. Start with six wild-caught jumbo shrimp marinated in shrimp scampi seasoning and served with cocktail sauce. For an entrée, try Garlic Shrimp Pasta with house-made garlic sauce, penne pasta, wild-caught jumbo grilled shrimp, and Parmesan Reggiano. Shrimp Creole & Grits pairs wild-caught jumbo shrimp with house-made spicy Cajun creole red sauce and house-made cheese grits. McGarity’s Guinness Fish, Shrimp & Chips combines Guinness-battered wild-caught cod, house-breaded wild-caught jumbo shrimp, seasoned fries, cocktail sauce, and tartar sauce.

Salmon, Red Fish, and Ahi Tuna

White Wine Salmon features wild-caught salmon with a house-made creamy reduced white wine and dill sauce, lemon wedges, and a choice of two sides. Blackened Red Fish is finished with house-made garlic shrimp sauce and wild-caught jumbo shrimp. Guests who enjoy a bold, lighter preparation can consider sesame-crusted sashimi-grade ahi tuna, seared raw in the middle and served with house-made wasabi and sweet-and-spicy plum sauce plus two sides.

Fresh, Cooked-to-Order Dining

McGarity’s is not a fast-food restaurant. Dishes are prepared fresh and cooked to order, so the kitchen gives each plate the time and attention it deserves. Most entrées are served in generous portions, making a relaxed meal part of the experience. From seafood to steaks, salads, American comfort food, and Irish-inspired favorites, the menu offers choices for many tastes in one welcoming dining room.

Planning Around Dietary Needs

Please tell your server about every allergy or dietary restriction before ordering. McGarity’s takes dietary needs seriously and can discuss ingredients and preparation options, but the kitchen uses shared equipment, preparation areas, and fryers. Cross-contact is possible, and no dish can be guaranteed allergen-free. The chef makes the final decision about safe accommodations.
