Planning Your Visit
Do you accept walk-ins, or are reservations required?
Both! Walk-ins are always welcome, and reservations are recommended during busy periods, especially on weekends. Parties of up to six guests can reserve online through this website. Parties of seven or more should call 479-363-6038 during our regular business hours so our staff can discuss availability. You can also join our online waitlist before arriving. Reservations and waitlist places are not created, changed, canceled, or confirmed through email, contact forms, direct messages, general voicemail, Stella, or our website chat; please use your reservation link or call the restaurant for help.
Is Eureka Springs the only current McGarity’s location?
Yes. Our former McGarity’s Restaurant & Saloon locations in Jefferson and Marshall, Texas, operated in leased buildings. After owners Ken and Rachel relocated to Arkansas, they made the decision to close both Texas locations in February 2025 and focus on McGarity’s Restaurant & Irish Pub® in Eureka Springs, where they purchased the building rather than continuing to lease.
The Texas closures were part of a relocation and long-term property ownership decision, not the result of an unprofitable business. McGarity’s Restaurant & Irish Pub® in Eureka Springs officially opened on April 2, 2024, and is now our only location.
Are pets or service animals allowed?
Trained service animals are welcome inside McGarity’s. Ordinary pets and emotional-support or therapy animals that are not trained service animals are not permitted inside because of health department regulations. We do not require service-animal documentation. If the need for the animal is not obvious, staff may ask only whether the animal is required because of a disability and what work or task it has been trained to perform. Staff will not ask about a guest’s disability or require the animal to demonstrate its task. If you need assistance when you arrive, please let a staff member know.
Is your restaurant wheelchair accessible?
Yes, with one important restroom limitation. McGarity’s has one van-accessible parking space, wheelchair-accessible entry through two doors, and wheelchair-accessible tables inside the restaurant. Because our restaurant is located in an older building, the restrooms are not currently wheelchair accessible. We want guests to have this information before visiting so they can plan comfortably. If you need help finding an accessible entrance or table when you arrive, please let a staff member know and we will be happy to assist.
Do you have a patio or outdoor seating?
McGarity’s does not currently have a patio or outdoor seating. All dining is indoors in our warm, comfortable Irish pub-style dining room. Our building’s size and layout do not provide a suitable outdoor dining area, so we focus on creating a welcoming indoor atmosphere with rich wood accents, traditional Irish-inspired décor, and genuine Ozark hospitality.
Where is McGarity’s Restaurant & Irish Pub located?
Find us at 2070 E. Van Buren, Eureka Springs, AR 72632, on Route 62 East across from Pine Mountain Village.

Our bar has five seats, available on a first-come, first-served basis. Seating availability cannot be guaranteed.
Which holidays have an 11 a.m. opening?
We open at 11 a.m. on New Year’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, Independence Day (July 4), and Labor Day. Closing time is 10 p.m., or 11 p.m. when one of these holidays falls on a Friday or Saturday. All hours are Central Time. Any announced special schedule takes precedence.

What are your hours on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve?
Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve follow our regular weekly hours: Monday–Thursday, 4–10 p.m.; Friday–Saturday, 11 a.m.–11 p.m.; and Sunday, 11 a.m.–10 p.m. All hours are Central Time.
What are your St. Patrick’s Day hours?
We open at 11 a.m. on St. Patrick’s Day. We close at 11 p.m. if March 17 falls on a Friday or Saturday, and at 10 p.m. on other days. It is our busiest day of the year, so planning ahead is especially helpful.
Do Columbus Day, Veterans Day, or observed holidays change your hours?
Columbus Day and Veterans Day follow our regular weekly schedule. An observed holiday on a different date also follows regular hours unless we announce a special schedule.
Can I watch a particular game or sporting event?
Our commercial cable service carries a wide variety of sports channels. Ask a staff member to check your event. We cannot guarantee every game or broadcast; pay-per-view events, streaming exclusives, regional blackouts, and separate subscriptions may limit availability.
Food & Drinks
What type of food do you serve?
We serve cooked-to-order Irish-inspired dishes and American classics, including shepherd’s pie, fish and chips, steaks, seafood, burgers, wings, vegetarian and vegan choices, and kids’ meals—all in generous portions.
Do you serve beer, wine, and cocktails?
Yes! We offer an extensive selection of wine and craft beer, along with a full lineup of handcrafted cocktails. Our taps feature some of the best beers around, including Guinness poured through our imported Irish draft system, Smithwick’s, and many other favorites. Whether you want a perfectly poured pint, a glass of wine, or a great cocktail, we have something for everyone.
Are kids welcome?
Absolutely! McGarity’s is family-friendly and welcomes guests of all ages. We offer a dedicated kids’ menu for children ages 12 and under. Each paid kids’ meal is $9.95 and includes one entrée, one side, and one kids-cup drink; paid kids’ meals may also be ordered online for pickup. Children age 5 and under receive one complimentary kids’ meal when dining in. The complimentary meal is dine-in only and is not available online or for pickup. Adults may not order from the kids’ menu for themselves.
Is your kitchen always open when you are?
Yes. We believe that if our doors are open, our kitchen should be open too. Just as you can make a purchase at a store right up until closing, you should be able to order a meal until our posted closing time. Come in even one minute before closing, and we’ll gladly serve you a hot, freshly cooked meal with the same warm hospitality and attentive service we give every guest. We’re open seven days a week, and our full kitchen serves until 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday and until 10 p.m. all other days.
Do you have live music?
McGarity’s does not currently offer live musical performances. Our building is intimate, and its size and acoustics are not the best fit for live bands or performers. We do, however, play Irish music throughout the restaurant. It adds to the warm, welcoming pub atmosphere and helps create the full McGarity’s experience—a little piece of Ireland where Irish character meets Ozark hospitality.
Where can I browse all of your menus?
Our menu page includes the main menu, vegan and vegetarian choices, kids’ meals, beer, cocktails, wine, desserts, and non-alcoholic drinks.
What Irish dishes can I find on the menu?

Our Irish & American restaurant also serves burgers, chicken-fried steak, steaks, seafood, sandwiches, salads, and pasta. You can explore everyone’s choices together on the menu page.

Dietary Needs
Can you accommodate food allergies?
Yes. McGarity’s takes food allergies and dietary restrictions seriously and will make reasonable efforts to accommodate guests. Our kitchen handles seafood, shellfish, dairy, eggs, wheat and gluten, soy, nuts, meat, and other allergens, and our equipment, preparation areas, and fryers are shared. Separate disposable, one-time-use pans may be used for many dietary needs to help reduce cross-contact, but no dish can be guaranteed allergen-free. Please tell your server about every allergy and its severity before ordering so the kitchen can confirm current ingredients and preparation methods. Our chef makes the final decision about whether a request can be safely accommodated.
Are you Alpha-Gal Syndrome (AGS) friendly?
Yes—McGarity’s is AGS and Alpha-Gal friendly. For many dietary needs, including AGS orders, our kitchen uses separate disposable, one-time-use pans to help reduce cross-contact. Please tell your server that you have Alpha-Gal Syndrome before ordering so our team can confirm current ingredients and preparation methods for your meal. McGarity’s is a working shared kitchen, so zero cross-contact cannot be guaranteed, and restaurant staff must make the final determination about what can be safely prepared for each guest.
Do you offer gluten-free options?
Yes. We currently offer three dishes specifically listed with gluten-free pasta: Gluten-Free White Cheddar Mac & Cheese, Gluten-Free Garlic Shrimp Pasta, and Gluten-Free Pasta Chicken Alfredo. Other accommodations may be possible depending on the dish and current ingredients. McGarity’s is a working shared kitchen with shared equipment, preparation areas, and fryers, so cross-contact is possible. Guests with celiac disease, a wheat or gluten allergy, or a high sensitivity should tell their server before ordering so our kitchen can confirm current ingredients and preparation methods. No dish can be guaranteed completely free of gluten or cross-contact.
Do you offer vegan and vegetarian options?
Yes. McGarity’s offers dedicated vegan and vegetarian selections. Vegan choices include the Dublin Black Bean Burger, Limerick Vegan French Dip, Killarney Garden Pesto Pasta, and Belfast BBQ Jackfruit Bun. Vegetarian choices include the Kerry Black Bean Garden Salad, Donegal Garden Wrap, Galway Jackfruit Mac-N-Cheese, and Cork Curry Jackfruit Chips. Some dishes include fried sides such as skin-on seasoned fries, sweet potato waffle fries, or onion rings. These sides are cooked in shared fryer oil that is also used for non-vegan and non-vegetarian items. If you prefer to avoid the shared fryer, please tell your server and ask to have the fried side removed. Shared equipment and preparation surfaces mean cross-contact is possible, so guests with allergies should speak with their server before ordering.
Can you guarantee that a meal is soy-free?
No. Many ingredients may contain soy or trace soy, and we cannot guarantee a soy-free meal. Tell staff about your allergy and its severity before ordering. The chef will review current ingredients and preparation and decide whether your request can be accommodated.
Ordering & Other Questions
Do you offer pickup or delivery?
McGarity’s offers dine-in and pickup; delivery is not available. You can place a pickup order using the Order Online for Pickup button on our website whenever online ordering is available. The current pickup time is shown during checkout and can change based on how busy the kitchen is, so we do not guarantee a specific pickup time before an order is placed. Paid kids’ meals for children ages 12 and under may also be ordered online for pickup. The complimentary meal for children age 5 and under is a dine-in-only benefit and is not available online or for pickup. If you need help with an active order, please call 479-363-6038 during our regular business hours.
Does McGarity’s Restaurant & Irish Pub really offer free meals to people in need?
Yes—no questions asked. McGarity’s Restaurant & Irish Pub offers anyone in need a free, freshly prepared meal from our regular menu, served with the same care, dignity, and full service as every other guest. We do not ask for or accept donations to fund these meals; the owners pay for them out of their own pockets. It is simply our commitment to making sure no one goes hungry—not on our watch.
Who are the owners and members of McGarity’s leadership team?
McGarity’s is locally owned by Ken and Rachel. Our leadership team includes Executive Chef Chad, Sous Chef Marie, General Manager Jude, and Front of House Manager Brittany. Together, they guide our kitchen, service, and daily operations.
